Learning Activities
Cat In The Hat Writing Rhyming Words
Skills:  CVC words, writing words,
I created a page with Cat In The Hat hats on it.  I wrote common vowel consonant word ending on each hat.  I had Addie write a word with the same ending and then come up with and write 2 more words that rhyme.  For example for the at hat- I said write mat.  Then she wrote two more words - hat and cat.

One Fish Two Fish Goldfish Counting
Skills:  Counting, colors,
I made a counting sheet  and drew in the fish.
I gave Tana a small bowl of Goldfish Crackers and she placed each fish on the sheet in the correct box.  She counted each fish and we talked about how many of each color fish were on her sheet of paper.
