Project - Toilet Paper Roll Pilgrim Hat - I don't remember where I saw this project, but I remember it looked simple, cute and fun! Directions: (Me)-Cut a 3-inch section from a cardboard toilet paper or paper towel roll. (Kids)-Paint the 3-inch section of cardboard toilet paper roll black (inside and out). (Me) -Cut a brim out of black craft foam, about 1 inch longer than the end of the toilet paper roll. (Kids) - Glue the brim to the bottom of the painted toilet tissue roll. (Me)-Cut a small buckle out of yellow craft foam. (Kids)-Glue the buckle to the hat. (Me)-Use the scissors to cut 2 slits in the top of the hat, directly across from each other(optional). Finally, slide a place card into the slits you cut. (optional)
