Materials Needed - Ice cream pail, green felt, craft glue, scissors, green chenille stems, tri-beads
My blog features the activities and projects I do with my children. I have 3 children age 11, 7 and 4. I watch an infant, plus my 4 year old nephew! This blog highlights the activities/projects we create during the week. It also provides a way for me to organize all of the activities and projects we do, and it is a great way to share the projects/activities. I hope this blog will become a great resource and inspire creativity.

Ice Cream Pail Alien!
Project - Ice Cream Pail Alien - Instead of throwing away our empty ice cream pail I decided to put it to good use. Connor chose to make an Alien "helmet" out of it. Directions: I cut slanted eyes out of the pail. Then we covered the entire pail with green felt. Connor added tri-beads and two green antenna's (chenille stems) for finishing touches.

I laughed out loud when I saw Connor with that green pail on his head!! Haha, what a good idea. Remember when Boyd made Billy one that was a Storm Trooper?

Hello!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind words on my blog! I hope you and your children have a nice time with the craft! I was a kindergarten teacher until I had my son two years ago. Now I am home with him as well and it is the most wonderful thing I have ever done!
Hope you have a lovely week and glad I found you too!
