Connor and Lauren with their Turtles
Project - Paper Plate Turtles. I turned a green, paper, salad plate inside out. I traced and cut out 4 oval shaped legs, a larger oval shape head, and a triangle tail on brown card stock. Connor and Lauren helped me staple the legs, head and tail onto their green plates. Then, they glued large googly eyes onto the oval head. As a finishing touch they decorated the turtle's shell with green buttons, yellow, green, and white tri-beads. Materials Needed - green, paper, salad plate, (or paper plate that can be painted green), brown card stock, stapler, googly eyes, craft glue, tri-beads, buttons or other decorations for the shell. The finished turtles
