Cut a mouth and nose from black felt and glue to the yellow felt circle. Glue on googly eyes. Glue the yellow felt circle to the middle of the painted plate. Cut 1" tabs around the outer edge of the paper plate for the lion's mane.
Materials Needed: paper plate, orange paint, paint brush, scissors, yellow and black felt, googly eyes, craft glue
My blog features the activities and projects I do with my children. I have 3 children age 11, 7 and 4. I watch an infant, plus my 4 year old nephew! This blog highlights the activities/projects we create during the week. It also provides a way for me to organize all of the activities and projects we do, and it is a great way to share the projects/activities. I hope this blog will become a great resource and inspire creativity.

Mod Podge Valentine Heart Jar!
Project: Mod Podge Valentine Heart Jar - Addie loved doing the other Valentine jar the other day, so we did another one today - just a different version. Addie is really liking the Mod Podge - a little too much. She really caked it onto the jar this time!
Directions: We ripped pieces of red, purple, and pink tissue paper into pieces and used Mod Podge to stick it to an old glass jelly jar. When the jar was dry, Addie stuck felt, heart stickers onto the jar. I helped her glue a large, red, felt heart to the lid and she stuck more felt, heart stickers over the top of the felt heart on the lid.
Materials Needed: glass jar, red, pink, purple tissue paper, paint brush, Mod Podge, felt heart stickers, red felt, scissors, glue
